Before you connect
Zoom is available when Appointments are enabled for your LinkStack account. You need a Zoom account that can create meetings, and your Zoom plan still controls its meeting limits.
Connect Zoom
- 1Open Settings and choose Integrations.
- 2Find Zoom under Scheduling and click Connect Zoom.
- 3Sign in to the Zoom account you want LinkStack to use.
- 4Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
- 5Return to LinkStack and confirm that Zoom shows Connected.
Use Zoom for an appointment
- 1Open Products and create or edit an Appointment.
- 2Open Settings, then Appointment setup.
- 3Choose Zoom from Meeting location.
- 4Finish the appointment duration and availability settings.
- 5Save or publish the appointment.
- LinkStack creates a private Zoom meeting after a booking is confirmed.
- The attendee receives the Zoom join link in the confirmation and reminder messages.
- Rescheduling updates the meeting time and duration.
- Canceling removes the related Zoom meeting.
Zoom data used by LinkStack
LinkStack reads the authorized Zoom user's account ID and email, then creates, updates, or deletes only the Zoom meetings needed for LinkStack bookings. LinkStack does not access Zoom recordings, chat messages, or unrelated meetings. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest.
Disconnect or remove Zoom
- 1Open Settings and choose Integrations.
- 2Find Zoom under Scheduling and click Disconnect.
- 3To remove access from Zoom directly, sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage > Added Apps, find LinkStack, and click Remove.
- Published appointments using Zoom stop accepting new bookings until you reconnect Zoom or choose another meeting location.
- Disconnecting stops LinkStack from creating or changing future Zoom meetings.
- You can reconnect at any time from Settings > Integrations.
